SP Hiring is an optional part of SP HR Portal. Built on Office 365, this SharePoint Applicant tracking system optimizes management and tracking across the entire hiring process from requisition to offer. SP Hiring is an integrated component of the SP HR Portal so that the various participants in the process can access it intuitively from their role-based portal - Manager Portal, HR Staff Portal, or Employee Portal.
As part of Office 365, the process leverages tools like Skype for Business, Office 365 calendars and tasks to make collaboration easy and achievable. Like all SP Marketplace applications, SP Hiring is 100% customizable by business power users

Creating an employment position - requisition
The process starts with managers creating a job requisition through the Manager Portal in SP HR Portal. They fill out the requisition and the automated approval process is started. Throughout the process approvers and managers are notified of status through email and the Manager Portal. Once the requisition is approved, human resources is notified so the position can be posted.
Posting the position and capturing applicant data
SP Hiring lets the opening be posted internally in SP HR Employee. You can add an optional career page built for your website to post the opening automatically. Applicant information and resumes is kept in the applicant database with a link to the resume. You can even add a feature where applicants fill out a web form on the website or email and upload their resume.
When a new application is submitted, the manager receives an alert via email with a link to the applicant information. The applicant database is easily searchable or can be browsed by employment opening, category, or other filter that you apply in the managers portal. For each applicant, you can add notes and set a status. Selected candidates are automatically created in the candidates list.

Manage the candidate selection process
Once an applicant becomes a candidate, you can then structure and automate the selection process. SP Hiring lets you set up process stages, create tasks, schedule interviews, and collect feedback for each candidate using Office 365 calendars and tools. Automatically send notifications for interviews in Office 365 and conduct online interviews using Skype for Business.
