Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra uses SP Intranet to create an operational hub on Office 365 and SharePoint

Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is a nonprofit organization that has been serving the community of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with musical experiences at the highest level for more than 100 years. The organization employees about 200 musicians and staff.
In addition to providing several performances throughout the year, the Orchestra offers a number of community programs focused on music and designed to educate and empower the community. Fidele Niyonzigira has been the Orchestra’s Director of IT for 5 years and was looking for an Intranet solution to organize operations and provide a central hub for employees.

Since the Orchestra was already using Office 365, Niyonzigira wanted to deliver a solution that would integrate with Office 365 and also extend its capabilities beyond solely email and sharing documents.

Niyonzigira began his search by looking for SharePoint solutions and ultimately found his way to SP Marketplace and its out-of-the-box portals and applications on Office 365.

“SP Intranet has really helped us tremendously,” said Fidele Niyonzigira. “Now everything is organized on different levels and everybody is able to find information at the same time.”
